Mumbai hosts one of the largest collections of Art Deco buildings in the world. The Art Deco Mumbai Trust is dedicated to raising awareness and appreciation along with documenting this rich Deco heritage. The walk will cover the city’s first set of Art Deco buildings at the Oval Maidan, built in the 1930s, and recently inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Join us as we delve into the nuances of architecture, design and history.
