Aghapura, an interesting locality situated about 2 km from Nampally Railway Station, is a living amalgamation of the Ganga-Jamuni tehzeeb. It houses one of the most beautifully restored Sufi shrines of Hazrat Agha Dawood Sahab (Rh), based on whom the locality is named Aghapura. The trail will begin at Hameed Café and pass through a contemporary Jain temple, and from the bylanes of Bhoiguda Kaman, will reach Dargah Sardar Baig (Rh). This hidden architectural marvel has a Nizami theme with Qutub Shahi influences, with the real tomb of the saint hidden in a cellar below. We shall then reach the climax of this trail, that is, Dargah Agha Dawood Sahab (Rh). Still in its pristine glory even today, this site has a spiritual aura of peace and tranquility, with all its artefacts, structural aesthetics, beautiful Belgian chandeliers and carpets still intact.

This guided tour is free.
