Homage to the Hussain Sagar Lake

Hussain Sagar Lake, Asia’s largest artificial lake, was built by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah in 1563 on Musi river. It used to be the largest drinking water source for the city before Osman Sagar and Himayat Sagar were built. Being at the centre of the city, it has been witness to major changes including the Telangana movement. Let’s meet to discuss and share the stories that make Hyderabad what it is now.
