The Don Bosco Centre for Indigenous Cultures is located in Mawlai, Shillong, Meghalaya.  The museum preserves the rich cultural heritage of North-East India. It contains seventeen galleries displaying cultural artefacts and paintings. The museum highlights the various Catholic churches of the North-East, the different tribes, their tools and weapons used in the earlier days, the varied musical instruments, craft items, and the different cultures and traditional attires of North-East India.


This guided tour is free and has been specially curated for the students of St John Bosco School.
